What exactly is an "app rescue"?
It's the full recovery of an app stranded on Replit or another AI builder. We secure and export your data first, give you one flat price in writing, then repair, finish, and redeploy your app on hosting you own — and hand you every credential. Whether it's down, over-billed, half-built, or held hostage, the rescue gets you out and back live.
My developer disappeared / my AI builder got stuck. Can you finish the app?
Yes — this is one of our most common jobs. We audit the existing code (free with your intake), tell you honestly what's solid and what isn't, give you a fixed-price completion roadmap, then finish the features, harden it for production, and deploy it on hosting you own. Same with sudden breaks: we diagnose the actual cause and deliver a written fix report with every repair.
Can you work with government and tribal organizations?
Yes. We build administrative systems — intake and case management, registries, document and certificate generation, role-based access with audit trails — with the documentation and data-ownership standards those environments require. Everything lives on infrastructure you control.
My Replit billing already failed. Is my data gone?
Probably not — but the clock is ticking. Replit's database provider disables the endpoint when billing lapses; the data usually still exists and access can be restored temporarily to export it. This is exactly what our Emergency Rescue is for: we restore minimal access, export everything first, and verify it byte-for-byte before any other work.
Will my app look or work differently after the rescue?
No. We re-platform the engine underneath, not the experience. Your design, content, and features stay identical — verified page-by-page in our launch checklist. What changes: it runs on hosting you own, with no Replit dependencies left.
What hosting do I need? Do I have to buy a server?
Often not. Many AI-built apps are mostly static and run beautifully on inexpensive cPanel shared hosting (we convert them so they can). Apps with heavy server logic need a small VPS (~$6–12/mo). Your free triage report tells you exactly which — and we can provide and manage hosting either way.
How fast is a rescue?
Typical: 24–72 hours from approval to verified-live. Emergencies start same-day with data export first. Complex apps (Rescue Max) get a timeline in the triage report.
Do I own everything afterward?
100%. Code, database, hosting, domain, email, credentials, and documentation are handed to you. We're happy to keep maintaining it on a care plan — but you're never locked in.
Can you rescue apps from builders other than Replit?
Yes — Lovable, Bolt, v0, Glitch, Heroku-stranded apps and more. The platform changes; the rescue discipline is the same: data first, convert, deploy, verify. Use the same intake form.
What if you can't rescue it?
The triage is free, so you risk nothing to find out. If we take the job, the quoted scope is guaranteed: if we can't deliver the agreed rescue, you don't pay for it.
